Jonathan Stefansky at Affiliate Summit West 2009

Jonathan Stefansky, EVP Sales & Marketing for Qoof, spent a couple of days at Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas. On the second day of the show he joined with Michael Jenkins, CEO/Founder of MarketLevarage, Melissa Salas, Director of Marketing for Buy.com, on a panel discussion called Affiliate Videos: Where Do They Work Best?  The panel moderator was Marty Fahncke, President of FawnKey & Associates. Rumour has it that Qoof was talked about a lot during the panel, but we will need to wait to see the video for a complete review. The next day Jon ran an "Ask The Expert" roundtable discussion on "Creating Video Content for Affiliates".  This has been a busy couple of weeks for our EVP of Sales and he is surely missed back home! Stay warm Jon!

Jon's performance at Affiliate Summit

Jonathan Stefansky led a one hour session at Affiliate Summit Boston called "Lessons Learned in using Videos for Affiliates". The session was a great success and was well attended. The feedback from the session has also been great. Below is a link and an excerpt from one blogger who attended the session:

I then went to the session called, “Lessons Learned Using Video for Affiliates” by Jonathan Stefansky of Qoof. I was actually a bit apprehensive about the session, since the speaker worked for an online video company and thought it might be an hour long sales pitch.  In fact, it was the exact opposite.  Jonathan gave an excellent demonstration that included good vs. bad video examples, information on how to set yourself apart from the crowd (even if you self-produce the video!), and actually couched a question that referred to his company specifically to discuss outside the session.  He could not have been more professional and this speaks volumes about him and his company that could never be accomplished in a sales pitch and helps set Affiliate Summit apart from other conferences.

Speaking tomorrow at the New Media MeetUp in Tel-Aviv

I am looking forward to speaking tomorrow night in Tel-Aviv at the New Media meetUp for Online Video professionals.

Should be very exciting as I love meeting people in the same industry. I hope to learn, share, and meet new friends.
