Qoof Reaches Top 4 at Silicom Ventures Israel Summit
Qoof was chosen as one of 33 companies that presented at the SilicomVentures International Summit held in Israel. Out of the 33 companies, Qoof was 1 of 4 chosen for the final round. What makes this feat more outstanding is that 90% of the companies presenting were either bio-tech or Clean Tech and Qoof was the only one of the 4 that was web 2.0 based. But we went into the final round with our heads held high knowing that we were going up against insumountable odds (just the way we like it) and we put on a great show. And we should have won! But the 4 judges who represented VC firms in the US and Israel all were clean tech and bio tech investors and so in the end a company that "blows wind" won. No, we are not bitter :)
